By downloading, installing, or using FocusPal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

FocusPal is a gamified Pomodoro timer application designed to help users, particularly those with ADHD, build better focus habits through AI-powered companions, progress tracking, and gamification elements.

3. User Accounts

You may use the App without creating an account. However, certain features may require account creation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.

4. Subscription and Payment

FocusPal offers both free and premium subscription options:

  • Free version with basic features
  • Monthly subscription: $2.99/month
  • Yearly subscription: $8.99/year
  • Lifetime access: $24.99 one-time payment

Subscriptions are charged through your Apple App Store account. You can manage your subscription in your App Store account settings.

5. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. Focus session data is stored locally on your device.

6. AI-Generated Content

FocusPal uses AI to generate personalized Pal companions. You are responsible for the content you provide for Pal generation. We do not claim ownership of your Pal descriptions or generated content.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the App to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Transmit harmful or malicious content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
  • Use the App for any commercial purposes without permission

8. Intellectual Property

FocusPal and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimers

FocusPal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific needs. FocusPal is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may stop using the App at any time.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes through the App or other means. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
